For a clear front-facing photo in good light it usually lands within 4-6 years of the real age. It estimates visual age, how old you look, not the figure on your ID.
How is visual age different from real age?
Real age is the number on your documents. Visual age is how old you look based on skin condition and facial structure. They often differ, and that is normal: care, sleep, sun and genetics shift the impression both ways.
What photo works best?
Front-facing, looking straight at the camera, neutral expression, even daylight, no heavy filters or strong makeup. That makes skin and contour signals read most accurately.
Do filters and makeup affect the result?
Yes. Smoothing filters and heavy foundation hide skin texture, so the AI may underestimate age. For an honest read, upload a photo without retouching.
What happens to my photo?
The photo lives in server memory for a few seconds: it is sent to the AI service and deleted after the result. It is not stored on disk. If you tap Save, we keep only the result text and a 256px preview.
