📖Meet the results
Learn more about each possible result — temperament, traits, and unique characteristics.

Golden Freddy
Golden Freddy is the rarest animatronic in the franchise: a faded bear who shows up without a sound and vanishes the moment you look away. He ignores the ordinary rules of the pizzeria and is tied to the oldest secrets in the series.

The Puppet
The Puppet is the tall doll from the music box in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. While the melody plays it stays calm, and in the lore it is the one that gives the other animatronics protection and memory.

Glamrock Freddy
Glamrock Freddy is the star of the Mega Pizzaplex in Security Breach and the only animatronic who takes a child’s side. He hides Gregory inside his own chassis and goes against the whole complex.

Chica
Chica is the chicken animatronic from the first Five Nights at Freddy’s, the vocalist of Freddy’s band with her «Let’s Eat!!!» bib and a cupcake in hand. She runs the pizzeria kitchen and shows up at the door more often than the others in the original game.

Freddy Fazbear
Freddy Fazbear is the face of the whole franchise: a bear in a top hat with a microphone, the band’s frontman and the pizzeria’s main animatronic. In the original game he moves last and most calculatedly of all.

Bonnie
Bonnie is the purple rabbit guitarist in Freddy’s band and one of the four classic animatronics from the first game. He moves more actively than anyone else and is known for turning up at the left door.

Circus Baby
Circus Baby is the lead animatronic of Sister Location, a clown girl with red pigtails and a microphone. She speaks to people gently while running her own game against everyone.

Sun and Moon
The Daycare Attendant from Security Breach is one animatronic with two faces: the kind Sun while the lights are on and the strict Moon in the dark. Its main rule in the game is simple, the lights must never go out.

Mangle
Mangle is the taken apart animatronic from Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 that children in the game reassembled every day. The character became one of the most recognisable in the fandom precisely because of that broken shape.

Foxy
Foxy is the pirate fox from Pirate Cove, the only classic animatronic who does not walk but runs down the hallway. The hook, the eyepatch and the torn suit made him a fandom favourite.

Roxanne Wolf
Roxanne Wolf is the racer of the Mega Pizzaplex, a wolf with a green fringe and golden eyes. In Security Breach she keeps telling her own reflection that she is the best, and that is her most famous trait.

Montgomery Gator
Montgomery Gator is the alligator bassist from Security Breach and the most short tempered member of the Glamrock band. He wrecks his own green room and dreams of taking Freddy’s place on the main stage.

Springtrap
Springtrap is the decayed golden rabbit from Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, the only real animatronic in the third game. William Afton, the main antagonist of the entire series, is hidden inside his chassis.

💡About this test
The quiz builds on C. G. Jung’s theory of archetypes and on the coping model of R. Lazarus and S. Folkman. The thirteen Five Nights at Freddy’s animatronics work as ready made images of how a person behaves under fear, noise and pressure: some freeze, some take charge, some charge straight ahead.

🎮How to take it
Answer 20 questions by picking the option closest to you. There are no right or wrong answers here: the more honest you are, the sharper the animatronic match.
🎓About the methodology
The matching method rests on two pillars. The first is C. G. Jung’s theory of archetypes: stable behaviour patterns repeat across myth, cinema and games, which is why horror franchise characters read as ready made psychological types. The second is the coping model of R. Lazarus and S. Folkman, where a response to threat splits into avoidance, seeking support, problem solving and confrontation. Twenty questions score four dimensions: reaction to fear and darkness, social orientation, emotional regulation and attitude to rules. A total between 20 and 80 lands inside the band of one of the thirteen animatronics, while the match chart shows how close you are to every other character. Media characters are used on purpose: research on identification with fictional figures (J. Cohen, 2001) shows that people recognise themselves in a character more accurately than in an abstract description, and studies of horror audiences (G. N. Martin, 2019; C. Scrivner et al., 2021) link a taste for the scary with curiosity and psychological resilience. The quiz stays entertainment and does not replace a professional assessment.
❓Frequently asked questions

Is this an official quiz from the game creators?
No. This is a fan made personality quiz and it is not affiliated with Scott Games or Steel Wool Studios. Character names and images belong to their owners and are used here as cultural archetypes.
How long does it take?
About five minutes: 20 questions with four options each. The quiz is free, no sign up is required and the result appears right after the last question.
