This online Raven test will help determine your IQ level based on progressive matrices. Questions consist of visual patterns where you must logically identify the element that completes the group.

Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices (SPM) were developed in 1936 by John Raven in collaboration with Professor Lionel Penrose at the University of Dumfries in Great Britain. The test was designed to measure general intelligence (Spearman's g factor) independently of cultural context, education, and language skills.
The methodology is based on cognitive development theory, where each series of tasks reflects a specific level of mental operations. Set A tests the ability to complete continuous patterns, Set B evaluates analogical reasoning, Set C tests progressive pattern changes, Set D tests figure permutations, Set E evaluates decomposition of figures into elements, and Set F tests complex abstract thinking.
The test's reliability (test-retest) ranges from 0.83-0.93, and its validity has been confirmed by numerous studies in over 100 countries. The test is widely used in clinical psychology, education, professional selection, and scientific research.
Raven's test measures general intelligence (g factor), specifically the ability for abstract thinking, pattern recognition, and logical reasoning. The test is independent of language, culture, and education, making it one of the most objective intelligence assessment tools.
Our adaptation is based on Raven's scientific SPM methodology. The original test-retest reliability is 0.83-0.93. The online format preserves the structure and scoring principles of the original test, though for a clinical assessment, taking the test under professional supervision is recommended.
Average IQ is 95-109 points (about 50% of the population). IQ 110-119 is considered above average, 120-129 high, and 130+ very high. IQ below 85 is considered below average. Remember that IQ measures only one aspect of intelligence.
Yes, the cognitive skills measured by the test are trainable. Regular practice with logic problems, puzzles, chess, and mathematics improves abstract thinking. Rest, stress levels, and concentration during the test also affect results.
Raven's test was specifically designed as a non-verbal ("culture-fair") instrument. Visual matrices allow measuring intelligence independently of language, culture, and education level. This makes the test fair for people from different countries and social groups.
Each question shows a 3x3 matrix with geometric shapes. The last cell is missing. Choose one of six options that correctly completes the pattern. Recommended time: 25 minutes.
