ESTPs don't wait for permission. They act now and apologize later (if they apologize at all). About 4% of the population. In Myers-Briggs typology they are called Entrepreneurs. Their element is negotiation, crisis and competition. Boredom kills them faster than any risk. Where others hesitate, ESTP is already moving.

Razor-sharp perception of reality in real time. ESTPs notice everything: facial expressions, shifts in tone, the power dynamics in any room. They live in the present moment and react with lightning speed.

An internal analytical engine. ESTPs rapidly break situations into component parts and find the optimal solution. They don't theorize: they need a working model, not an elegant formula.
Extraverted Feeling
A natural grasp of social dynamics. ESTPs read the room and know how to steer it. With age this function strengthens, making them more attuned to the feelings of those around them.
Introverted Intuition
The weakest ESTP function. Long-range planning and abstract forecasting feel unnatural. Under severe stress ESTPs can 'fall into' Ni: obsessive thoughts about the future and paranoid premonitions appear.

A mature ESTP with developed Fe is a loyal and caring partner. Yes, they need freedom and dynamism. But when an Entrepreneur finds someone who doesn't try to 'tame' them, the relationship becomes strong and energizing.

ESTP extraversion is directed at the sensory world: action, sport, nature, machinery. Many Entrepreneurs prefer a close circle of friends to loud parties. Their energy comes from doing things, not from crowds.

ESTPs learn best through action. If you want to explain something to an Entrepreneur, demonstrate it in practice rather than lecturing. Long instructions put them to sleep.
